Hotter than 212 Degrees

The internet exploded several years ago with the controversy over Shea Gunther’s “42 Point Plan to Help Job Seekers.”

It might be debated that the way he sent the message could have been different but the bottom line is I can’t find anything in the 42 points that I would disagree with.  He provides some hard-hitting points, the reality of what many job seekers do that they shouldn’t and what they should be doing. Overall it’s great advice.  There’s a struggle with some percentage of the job seeker market.  They believe it should be easy, or that the world owes them a job no matter what the quality of their application, that it’s all about them, not the job or organization they apply to, that some obvious things don’t matter.  This is the reality that Shea nails very well!
